Ahmed Masood, MD

Pulmonologist

Dr. Ahmed Masood, MD is a board-certified internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care and sleep medicine physician. Dr. Masood earned his medical degree from the University of Karachi, Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He stayed there to complete his internship. Dr. Masood completed his medical residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center on Staten Island, New York and his fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dr. Masood has served in a variety of leadership positions, including Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine, Medical Director of Vascular Surgery ICU at AdventHealth, and Chairman of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at AdventHealth. His special interests include sleep disorders, narcolepsy, sarcoidosis, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, preoperative evaluation and clearance, and pulmonary fibrosis.
